The Michigan Vintage VW Club car show was today at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for a car show. Here are a couple pictures I took of Karl under the gorgeous early morning light. Love that time of day!
It was fun using the roof rack. Today was the first time I’ve actually used it. I used it to carry things we actually needed at the show today. Chairs, drinks, and snacks! =)
hey scott this is joes dad. I was looking at you web site and got to the end when you were at riveside park in yipsy, its funny but joe and I were there and we remember your car. it was the only one with the roof rack , joe thought that was so cool. just wanted to tell you that.

Hi Keith. What a small world, huh? Very cool! Thanks for the kudos too. It’s much appreciated. I think I’m going to be putting the car up for sale here pretty soon. I had a ’65, a ’68, and a ’70 Beetle in the past. After those I had a ’74 VW Thing and now this ’66. =) Take care and let me know how it goes with your new ’70 Beetle!
